If you don't have a direct debit set up, then you are an instalments customer paying with a repeat card charge.

For customers paying via direct debit

If you pay via monthly direct debit for your car insurance, it might be possible for us to change the date of your direct debit!

‍In some cases, we can move your payment date forward by a maximum of 7 days. For example, if you usually pay on the 8th of every month, we could change this date up to the 15th.

To see if we can change your direct debit date, get in touch by Live Chat. You can reach us through the app or the Help page of our website. 

Please note:

If you are in arrears and owe us money, we won't be able to change the date you pay until you are up to date with your payments.

If you are close to your payment date, we might not be able to change this for you.  Please contact us at least 3 working days before your payment is due to change the due date.

For customers paying by repeat card charge

To change your payment date, please speak to our customer support team by starting a live chat in the app.

Please note:

  • You will need to pay twice in a 30-day period. We can only move future payment dates closer to the current date.
  • Payment dates can only be changed twice during the policy term.
  • Any deadlines for missed payments will remain the same - this change will only impact future payments.
  • The new payment date must be at least 6 days after your current payment date.
