Marshmallow Go uses the sensors in your phone to score your driving.

For that reason, we can’t offer you an app-based cover policy if you don’t have the required phone and operating system (OS).

To use app-based cover, you’ll need either:

  • An iPhone running iOS 15 or later. This includes iPhone 6S and later models.
  • An Android phone running Android 8 or later, with Google Play Services installed and turned on

Your phone also needs to have an accelerometer and GPS. All iPhones and most Android phones include these - but check the manufacturer’s info if you’re unsure. 

If you change your phone (or lose your access to it), get in touch with us as soon as possible.
