What happens if I cancel my policy?
In order to cancel your policy you will have to contact the customer support team via the app. You will need to pay a £90 early cancellation fee (£45 if you cancel within the 14 day cooling off period) - this includes the cost of the tag. Alternatively you can change your plan to a more suitable non-Telematics plan for a higher price. You can choose from Lightest, Essential, Original and Plus. Please do not return your tag and dispose of it via your local recycling centre.
What happens if Marshmallow cancels my policy due to my driving score?
If your driving score falls below our acceptance rate, we’ll send you a warning and give you 14 days to improve. If your score doesn’t improve during that time, we may cancel your policy. If this happens, we’ll write to you in advance to confirm the cancellation and explain your options. You may be able to switch to a non-telematics plan (Lightest, Essential, Original or Plus) at a different price. Any refund for unused cover will be calculated in line with our standard cancellation terms.
Can I switch to a non-telematics policy?
Yes. You can switch to one of our standard plans: Lightest, Essential, Original or Plus. Prices may be higher.
What happens if I have additional drivers?
Your score is based on drives where your phone and Tag are present. If someone else drives with your phone, their behaviour affects your score.
