How do I set up my Tag?
Once your Tag arrives, open the Marshmallow app and follow the instructions. Press the button on the Tag and stick it firmly behind your rearview mirror or on your dashboard using the provided adhesive.
Why do I need to enable Bluetooth?
Bluetooth allows your phone to connect to the Tag. The Tag uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which won’t significantly drain your battery.
Can I use other Bluetooth devices while using the Tag?
Yes. The Tag uses BLE, so you can still use other Bluetooth devices like headphones.
How do I know if my Tag is working?
When linking, the Tag will beep once. If you hear two or three beeps, this may indicate a problem. Two beeps = internal issue. Three beeps = phone connection issue. Contact support if you hear repeated beeping.
Can I turn the Tag off?
No. The Tag automatically sleeps after a drive and wakes up when it detects movement.
How do I remove the Tag?
Gently pull the Tag upward and away from the surface. Please dispose of it via your local recycling centre.
What does a "Tag-only" trip mean?
It means your phone didn’t connect to the Tag during a trip. These trips offer limited data and won’t count toward your score. Consistent Tag-only trips may lead to policy cancellation.
